Updating critical information systems always requires careful verification of roles, component compatibility, and recovery mechanisms. In September 2026, IQusion signed a contract to update the Scriptum.BPM platform. This event provides an opportunity to examine how process modelling helps formalise user authorisations.
IQusion's services for developing corporate process platforms combine business process modelling with detailed role configuration. The announced September contract for Scriptum.BPM specifically includes updates for 350 workstations and an additional 150 licenses. This is the declared scope of software the integrator will be working with.
Another example of work with corporate processes is the October contract for implementing the Megapolis.DocNet system. This involves configuring document routes and necessary integrations. Both cases concern different products but require a similar approach to organising work.
Configuration of Authorisations
Any regulated process must explain not only the standard actions of employees. It is important to immediately define the procedure for substitution during holidays or sick leave, as well as algorithms for responding to deviations from the usual route. BPM systems allow these rules to be transformed into a clear sequence of steps in the program.
When preparing for the implementation or update of an EDMS, administrators should agree on several organisational issues in advance. First, it is necessary to determine which specific exceptions are allowed in the work. Next, a list of individuals authorised to approve such non-standard actions should be established.
All decisions made and approvals obtained must be automatically saved in the system's work history. It is worth remembering that the mere existence of a contract for EDMS implementation does not automatically confirm the security or certification of the system. Such requirements are always set for a specific environment and verified through separate tests.
